Cleo Morrison Foreman
Cleo Morrison was born in Telephone and educated in Telephone, Bonham and Greenville schools. She graduated at East Texas State and did postgraduate work at UT in Austin.
In 1940 Cleo Morrison went to China as a missionary. In 1941 she was transferred to the Philippines and was captured by the Japanese. She was held in prisoner of war camps for 3 years and in 1945 returned to Fannin County after liberation.
She then returned to China in 1947 to teach English and Bible Study, returning to Texas in 1951. She married Edward Foreman in Fannin County in 1959. She died in 1971 and is buried in Forest Grove Cemetery.
